- The afternoons will be focused on leadership skills and development which is based on the 21st Century Global Competencies – the core focus will be communication (verbal and non-verbal), Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Citizenship and Character, Collaboration and Leadership, Creativity and Inquiry, all in which is currently part of TDSB’s education focus.
- Through lessons, activities, and relational guidance, we hope to inspire and lead our young campers to think outside the box, to go above and beyond, and develop necessary life skills which will help set them up for success in the future. In order to provide such learning opportunities to them, there will be collaboration with the elementary program on certain days to allow our youths to lead activities and develop leadership qualities through practical training.
- In addition, the Youth Robotics Leadership Camp will be working closely with the Director of Learning Programs – Secondary, and instructors to brainstorm, design, and host our Closing Ceremony for this year! It’s a night you DON’T want to miss out on!
- Finally, all individuals who complete our Youth Robotics Leadership Camp program (Participated a Minimum of 3 Weeks with Satisfactory Results on their LIT Evaluation (Leader In Training Evaluation), will receive a completion certificate, useful for future job and/or volunteer opportunity at Triumph Church, as well as a recommendation letter for future job and volunteer opportunity, if requested within 2 years of completion date.
